Aquapark and opening hours

Frymburk – Wellness Hotel,

  • open every day from 7 a.m. till 9 p.m.

Lipno nad Vltavou – Aqua world, every day,

  • from Mondays till Thursdays, on weekends from 10 till 21, on Fridays from 14 till 21 o’clock

ATM – is on the square in Frymburk

Bike rental – on the square in Frymburk and nearby the Wellness Hotel in Frymburk

Boat rental – directly in the campsite, other ones are in Frymburk on beach or in Lipno

Bus time table from Frymburk to Český Krumlov/Lipno/ Vyšší Brod and back is on the reception.

Car service – 2 places in Frymburk (Car service Želichovský Michal – near by Wellness Hotel, Tel.:723 779 289; Car service Králík – near by the bus stop, Tel.: 602 454 954)

Cycling path along the Lipno Lake leads directly from our campsite along the lake; it is the road n. 33 so-called “Šumavská magistrála”, some parts are made from asphalt and some from gravel, partly you have to go on the road.

Directly from the camp leading part is called Lake cycling path from Frymburk to Lipno nad Vltavou around the water, then you get with the brand-new part to Přední Výtoň then on road to Frýdava and with a ferry back to Frymburk.

Discos, bars – Windy Point in Černá v Pošumaví, others in Vyšší Brod and in Český Krumlov

Drugstore – in Frymburk and Lipno nad Vltavou, from Monday till Friday according to tourist season

Electricity is 6 amps in the campsite

Emergency – in Horní Planá, Tel: 380748114, Mo – Fr from 18 till 22, Sa + Su from 8 till 22 or in Český Krumlov in hospital non-stop

Exchange – You can pay everywhere with Euros or withdraw Czech crowns in ATM on the square in Frymburk.

Ferry – The nearest ferry station is in Frymburk and departures are almost every hour and back in 5 minutes later. Other ferries are in Dolní Vltavice connecting Kyselov and in Horní Planá connecting Blizší Lhota.

Fire or barbecue – You can make a fire only on the 2 campfires in the campsite or it is possible to grill nearby your pitch only in cases when you have a form of protection against damage of the lawn.

Fishing – You can fish only in the case that you have your own licence from your country, it is also important to buy the Czech licence together with the special licence for Lipno Lake. Another opportunity to fish is to angle on some private ponds in Černá v Pošumaví.

Fresh water – is everywhere in the whole campsite

Frymburk – distance to the village from campsite – approximately 800 m, 10 minutes on foot on a cycling path

Gas – You can buy bottles of gas near Černá v Pošumaví, there it is also the possibility to refill in or change it. The opening hours: every day from 8 a.m. till 19 p.m.

Interesting places which you can visit in adverse weather conditions

  • swimming pool in Wellness Hotel Frymburk
  • Aqua World in Lipno

  • a graphite mine or a museum of puppets in Český Krumlov
  • a post museum in Vyšší Brod
  • a museum of historical vehicles in Železná Ruda and in Kašperské hory
  • a former prisoner of war camp Mauthausen nearby Linz

Lipno nad Vltavou – distance to the town from camping – approximately 8 km, there is a cycling path along the lake or a road for cars

Motorway tax sticker – You can buy on almost all petrol stations (Frymburk, Lipno, Český Krumlov). There is a highway only on the way to Prague 130 km from Frymburk, for other roads in South Bohemia you do not need any vignette.

Post cards, post stamps – You can buy it in the restaurant or wherever in the city. The postman comes to the reception every work day.

From Monday till Friday 8-11.30 and 13-15 (on Wednesdays till 16)

Rafting on Vltava (Moldau) – You can rent a boat in Vyšší Brod, there are many companies that offer many other additional services, and they take you also back by car to your car. You can choose a piece of river Vltava how long you want to raft.

Reception – is open in May, June and September from 8 am to 12.30 and from 13.30 to 18 pm. In the high season it is open in July and August from 8 am to 12.30 and from 13.30 to 20 pm.

Restaurant in the campsite – is open from 8 till 22 o’clock, they cook the whole day.

Menu: chicken and pork steaks, salads, pommes frites, fish, fried cheese, ice, pancakes and many others. You can order fresh bread and breakfast there. There is also a small kiosk with basic goods as cheese, ham, toothpaste, toilet paper, washing powder etc. You can pay in EUR.

Ships and their schedule

There are 2 possible tours with stops or also 1 boat cruise (there is also a cruise in the Tuesday’s and Friday’s evenings – with the live music and refreshment).

Shop with camping equipment – in the campsite or in Passau

Shops – 3 shops you can find in Frymburk, a little bit bigger shop is in Lipno, other big shops are in Český Krumlov and in České Budějovice

Shower coin lasts for 4,5 minutes; you can buy them on reception. You can stop the water for max. 3 minutes.

Sport shop – the closest one is in Frymburk, the another one in Lipno
